Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actress Camryn Grimes, who plays Mariah on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way, “Mariah truly wants Tessa to be happy and fulfilled in this very exciting venture in her career. But in doing that, she’s also left Tessa completely unaware of the other things going on in Mariah’s life, such as losing her job and her mother having cancer.”

Camryn adds that sometimes two people often break a relationship before they can build it, and that’s what is probably happening to Mariah and Tessa right now. Of course, they have gone through their fair share of ups and downs in the past, but they have never dealt with anything like this before.

With that said, Camryn adds that she is hoping for the best outcome possible for her character and the love of her life. But knowing what kind of jealous and maybe even a tad immature Tessa can be, it will certainly be an uphill battle.
