The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Ridge Moves Away From Brooke – Bond With Shauna Deepens

CBS The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) still loves Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). But a series of events have caused his heart to be broken and with that, he isn’t able to make balanced decisions about his present and immediate future life.

However, it’s not just currently unresolvable trust issues that are affecting Ridge’s ability to see clearly. Shauna Forrester (Denise Richards) offers a seemingly positive alternative to the incessant drama that Bridge represents.

It’s true that Shauna was sincerely grateful for Ridge going easy on Flo Fulton’s (Katrina Bowden) legal issues last year. Richards’ character also has fallen in love with Ridge. But she hasn’t been honest with him about the most crucial issues, which includes that manner in which they came to be married.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Mirage Marriage A Major Distraction

Viewers, along with Shauna and Quinn Fuller Forrester (Rena Sofer) are the only other people who know what really happened. Ridge didn’t ask Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) to file the completed Bridge divorce papers, Shauna fronted that veiled request while he was in the shower at her modest Las Vegas, Nevada, apartment.

The often referenced and repeatedly played wedding chapel scene was a sham, rather than a mutual decision that Ridge and Shauna made. But Kaye’s character doesn’t know that because he was heavily inebriated.

The Shidge marriage is a total mirage, rather than the extension of what was a flirtatious connection.

B&B Spoilers – Steffy Forrester Issue Is Important

Along with his sudden nuptials, Ridge will now be forced to focus on his daughter’s potential addiction issues. Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) hasn’t been progressing following the surgery she had after Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) accidentally struck her motorcycle in broad daylight on the streets of Beverly Hills.

This crisis won’t be a distraction, as Steffy’s well-being is clearly a legitimate issue. Instead, Ridge’s paternal instincts and his fierce defense of family will serve to lengthen the time that his bond with Shauna deepens.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Brooke Logan Won’t Back Away

Brooke recognizes that Ridge is so angry with her that he’s willing to remain married to a woman he hardly knows. That’s why the proposed second Shidge wedding, to be hosted by Quinn at the Forrester mansion, could be seen as another devastating blow.

But Brooke is a survivor. She’s found her way back to Ridge, while at other times he’s returned to her. Yes, Bridge itself is resilient.

This time around Brooke needs to learn what the truth is. That could take a good deal of effort and careful consideration of how best to present reality to Ridge once it’s learned.
