Ever since Mick was told that he might be Frankie Lewis’ (Rose Alyling-Ellis) father, he has been forced to remember being sexually abused as a boy while in a care home. Even though Katy Lewis (Simone Lahbib) claimed that Frankie isn’t his daughter, Mick has continued to struggle with the past. It only made things worse when Katy discounted his memories. She tried to play it off like Mick was victimizing her with his childhood fantasies.

At the same time, she is offering to be a listening board for his other troubles. He’s playing right into his abuser’s hands. One media outlet suggested that it’s because Katy wants Mick to herself. However, it is much more likely that she is punishing Mick for Frankie finding out the truth about her mother. Katy mentioned once that she lost Frankie because of Mick. So, she very well could want him to lose his family just like she has lost hers.

Eastenders spoilers reveal that Mick will turn to Katy about his marriage problems. She immediately advises him to end the relationship and there is nothing to save. Then, Katy and Linda meet. The abuser manipulates the situation by telling Linda that she is loved by her husband. She even goes as far as to say that Mick pretty much worships her. This gives her renewed hope about her marriage.
