The Young and the Restless Spoilers Monday, November 4: Emotional Dina Meets Theo, Believes He’s Eric – Chelsea Faces Simon’s Deadline

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, November 4, tease that Chelsea Newman’s (Melissa Claire Egan) fears will grow stronger. At the Grand Phoenix, Chelsea gets updates on the handsome guest who was searching for her. Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) mentions that he’s not checking out until he settles his business in town.

Chelsea mentions the possibility of Abby buying her out, but Abby ultimately assumes the offer’s a joke. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) joins the discussion and suggests Chelsea’s pleased with her role in the hotel. Afterward, Chelsea’s sorry she got busy putting out fires and couldn’t make it to the press conference. She’d prefer to be in the background of Nick’s campaign anyway, but he doesn’t think he can do this without her.

During Nick and Chelsea’s interview with a reporter, Chelsea’s distracted. She spies Simon Black (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) and eventually has a private conversation with him. Simon wants his money within 24 hours, but Chelsea argues that she needs more time. She convinces Simon to give her 48 hours instead. Once Simon takes off, Chelsea calls Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) to ask for some help.

Back with Abby, she lets Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) know his father left without paying his bill. Rey’s apologetic and tries to pay for Adrian Rosales’ (Jay Montalvo) room, but Abby declines. Meanwhile, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) stops by Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Lola Abbott’s (Sasha Calle) apartment. The DNA results confirm Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) is Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) grandson, so Jack wanted to give Kyle a heads-up.

Kyle rants about how Jack should go tell Theo and celebrate with him. He feels confident Jack will regret going down this road. Once Jack’s gone, Lola admits to thinking Kyle was too hard on his dad. She also wants Kyle to keep an open mind about Theo. When Lola notes that Theo’s trying to be a better man, Kyle doesn’t buy it. They get into a fight since Kyle’s once again acting like Lola’s a fool.

Later, Kyle makes amends with Lola and confesses he just wanted her on his side. He hopes she’ll keep he eyes open when it comes to Theo. Lola nudges Kyle toward apologizing to Jack, so he heads over to the Abbott mansion.

Meanwhile, Theo marvels over his newfound connection and wonders if Jack has any regrets. Jack’s pleased that the truth came out. Theo wants to meet Dina ASAP, so Jack arranges it. When Dina hears the name “Vanderway,” she recognizes it and gets choked up. Dina assumes Theo is Eric and wonders if his parents love him. Theo notes that they love him very much.

The moment’s sweet, but it quickly passes once Dina gets tired. As Theo steps away, he hears Jack reminding Dina that he’s her son. At Society, Rey visits Lola and tells her about Adrian skipping out on his hotel bill. Lola alludes to Kyle’s family drama before rushing Rey off to see Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).

Theo comes to see Lola next, so she pushes him to open up. He shares that there was a connection with Dina. It was there one minute and gone the next. Theo’s suddenly feeling a bit lost about who he is.

Back with Kyle, he’s at the Abbott mansion when Jack returns from Dina’s facility. Kyle’s sorry about his reaction earlier, but he still doesn’t trust Theo. He learns Theo’s meeting with Dina went well and expresses his disdain over the family ties. However, Jack feels Kyle must come to grips with this and wants Theo to feel welcome.

At the coffeehouse, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is thrilled to learn Rey sent Sharon flowers after their date, which didn’t end until morning. She frets over Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) potentially manipulating Sharon again, but Sharon thinks it’s different this time. The conversation shifts to Mariah’s party plans. She wants to surprise Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) with a bash to celebrate their one-year anniversary. Sharon gets an invite and later extends one to Rey, who’s eager for another date.

On the patio, Mariah gets on the phone with Tessa and promises she’ll see her tonight. Once Mariah disconnects, she starts sending out texts.
