The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Kevin’s Return Creates Problems– Will He Team Up With Nick To Defeat Adam?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Kevin Fisher’s (Greg Rikaart) stunning return to Genoa City, Wisconsin, isn’t what Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) needs right now. Kidnapping Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) gives Kevin leverage, with the Khloe family in mind.

As hardcore Y&R fans recall, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), Kevin, and their child, Bella Mitchell (Cali May Kinder), left town in 2017. Chloe faked her death so that she wouldn’t face charges regarding Adam’s (as then played by Justin Hartley) seeming murder.

Y&R Spoilers– Kevin Tries To Neutralize Adam

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) surprisingly enabled Khloe’s departure, as he took pity on Bella, which was linked to Adam supposedly having accidentally run down Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono) in October 2013. While Kevin and Bella briefly returned to GC last year, Chloe remained in Oregon.

Adam has a hired henchman who confirmed that Chloe was alive. It seems as though Kevin caught wind of Phyllis helping Adam, who recently rejoined the living himself.

Knowing that the love of his life’s well-being is threatened, Kevin is attempting to neutralize Adam by obtaining an asset and using Phyllis as a bargaining chip. This high-stakes game of poker is different than ones Adam has been playing in Las Vegas, Nevada, in recent years. The danger of this contest involves lives, rather than a duffel bag full of wrapped cash winnings.

Young And Restless Spoilers– Nick And Kevin Join Forces!

Tognoni’s cast departure will be followed later this summer by Michelle Stafford’s (Phyllis) revival of a character she first played. The original Phyllis debuted in 1994. Stafford ended her run on Y&R in the mid-part of this decade and has been working as Nina Clay Reeves Cassadine on General Hospital ever since.

Phyllis’ capture will enable Tognoni’s write-out and later, Stafford’s write-back. How Kevin and Adam’s surround of that switch plays out will soon be seen.

In the meantime, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) believes that Adam is assaulting him. Adam feels differently, as Nick’s refusal to let him get to know his biological son, Christian Newman (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen), spurned use of Phyllis’ hacking skills, which resulted in Dark Horse’s debt being purchased in full.

Kevin’s kidnap of Phyllis throws a chipmunk wrench (a playoff monkey wrench, that will amuse Kevin fans) into Adam’s latest scheme. This would seem to create an opportunity for Kevin and Nick to become allies against a common enemy. Yes, that is the wisp of summer fireworks’ smoke in the air, weeks before the hottest season arrives!
