The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Billy and Adam’s Truce Questionable – Four Children’s Lives At Stake

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Billy Abbot’s (Jason Thompson) decision to go along with Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) truce request makes sense. They’ve agree to stay out of each other’s way for the sake of their children and all others who are connected to them.

It will also be good for both men’s minds, as Billy was triggered by Adam’s incredible reveal as being alive earlier this year. Adam later went far off course, as he came to blame Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) for orchestrating the hit and run attempt on Route 7. Of course, Billy was responsible for that.

Because Adam is still believed to have accidentally killed Delia Abbott (as then played by Sophie Pollono) on that same Route 7, there are only four living children’s lives who are affected by their fathers. Adam’s children, Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), Christian Newman (Alex Wilson) and Billy’s children, Johnny Abbott (Ryan and Holden Hare) and Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri).

Y&R appeared to purposely leave this question open during the period when Michael Muhney (Adam) was playing the character Grossman now does. Another car was shown on the road during that sequence, but that driver’s identity was never confirmed.

Through the years the audience has been asked to believe what Adam did. He felt some sort of collision, stopped his black sport utility vehicle, got out, looked around, saw Dash, who was Delia’s dog run off, but nothing else.

Adam later heard about the tragedy on Route 7 and found remnants of what he learned were Delia’s Halloween witch costume in his SUV’s wheel wells. Panic took hold and he remained silent, for reasons that included Billy (as then played by Billy Miller) and Chloe Mitchell’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) gift of Delia’s cornea’s to Connor, who was affected by Adam’s genetic condition that was inherited through Hope Wilson (Signy Coleman).

Billy is telling his loved ones that he’s following a therapy regimen and is making progress. He believes his deeply dark alter ego is in check.

However, Adam’s return to Genoa City, Wisconsin, surely pokes Billy’s mind. There’s no way for the character Thompson now plays to know if he’ll be able to keep this part of himself repressed, or eventually conclude that it’s been eliminated.

As a result, Adam is just one of the people who are likely in danger indefinitely regardless of the truce, which simply represents words.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman’s Influence Is Important

Billy has the support of Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), his mother, Jill Abbott Atkinson (Jess Walton), and his siblings. But who can Adam count on if he feels like he’s going off the rails again?

The seeming desire to make amends with Victor will prove key for both men. Incredibly, the Moustache and Billy had a good talk at the Ranch recently. Victor also wants to reestablish a real relationship with Adam and now has that chance with his son returning to town.
