Meanwhile, Jane Cox opens up about the exit storyline for her character that she played for 23 years. She said that Lisa has been a huge part of her life and is very close to her heart.

“I know I will shed more than a few tears when it comes to filming her final scenes,” she said back in March when it was revealed that Lisa has a terminal illness.

“But I’m really looking forward to my return to the show to tell this story and to give the character of Lisa a deserving farewell. I will miss her.”
