Emmerdale Spoilers: Al Chapman’s Secret Revealed After Shock Attack

Next on “Emmerdale” Al Chapman (Michael Wildman), who recently suffered a shock attack, is hiding a secret and it will all be revealed in upcoming episodes. The businessman accuses Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) as the culprit behind the attack but he’s reluctant to report it to the police. Billy strongly denies the allegation. Dawn decides to spy on Al and discovers his secret.

Viewers may recall that Al was attacked by a hooded figure and knocked him unconscious. The incident happened after weeks of his growing feud with Billy.

Spoilers for the November 25 episode hint that he’ll turn up late for work and informs Kim Tate (Claire King), Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson), and Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bormley) that he’s spent the night in A&E. Kim thinks there’s something off with Al. She knows she can’t be linked to him in case someone’s out to get him. All tells everyone that it was Billy who attacked him, but people in town are left confused because he doesn’t want to report the incident to the police.

Meanwhile, Billy starts acting out of character. His excessive drinking and looking distracted makes Marlon believe that he’s guilty. So, Dawn decides to confront Billy and tells him that he might end up getting sent back to prison if it’s proven that he attacked Al.

However, Billy denies having anything to do with Al’s attack, which further confuses Dawn and Marlon. In search of the truth, Dawn follows Al and discovers his secret. She sees him doing a dodgy meeting with a stranger. It seems like Al is handing over the keys to his expensive car. It’s possible that he’s he has debts to pay and it may have something to do with his recent attack.

This assumption could be supported by the recent phone call he made to his son Ellis Chapman (Aaron Anthony), who’s currently in Dubai. He asked him to invest in the factory, a conversation that started the rift between Al and Billy.

Al’s association with Kim Tate could also be the reason behind his attack. Fans may recall that he’s been made Kim’s right hand in favor of Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough). The latter could be the unidentified person who knocked Al unconscious.
