In the past, Lucas has fought an addiction to alcohol. Things got really bad at one point. Thankfully, he finally sobered up by doing a lot of hard work. There was also his struggle with Will Horton’s (Chandler Massey) resurrection and amnesia. Then, there was the storyline of Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) impersonating Adrienne Kiriakis. That certainly was heartbreaking.

Then, when the real Adrienne was rescued from prison, she had to choose between Lucas and Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth). Despite his great love her for, Lucas lost his girl. Adrienne chose to return to Justin.

When Vivian Alamain (then Louise Sorel, now Robin Strasser), Kate killed her during a struggle. It turns out that Vivian has been resurrected with Dr. Rolf’s (William Utay) formula. She sneaks back into Salem and has to deal with Kate. Wanting revenge, she tries to kill her, putting Kate in a life-and-death situation.

When Lucas returns, he and Will stay by her hospital bed. However, that doesn’t stop Vivian from trying to finish the job. Could Lucas play hero and try to stop Vivian before it’s too late?
