Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Jennifer Struggles To Cover The Mayoral Race As Jack Turn His Back On His Ideals

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) will struggle with covering the mayoral race for the Salem Spectator, as sees her husband Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) turn his back on his ideals. Jack is publicizing himself as the “clean slate candidate” to overcome any past scandals that may come up to haunt him and hurt his campaign. But Jenn and Days of Our Lives viewers know that it’s Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) who’s the real steam behind the ship!

Days Of Our Lives – Eve Is The One Pulling The Strings

Eve is using Jack as her “clean slate” to make him over into what she wants him to be, taking advantage of Jack’s probable brainwashing which caused his amnesia. So it’s probably not Jack who’s really playing dirty politics and going against everything he previously believed and lived by, it’s Eve.

Even so, Jenn will have a hard time staying objective as a reporter and being tasked with covering the political news when she sees this start to happen. Her inclination, and probably the rest of Jack’s family who remain in Salem, will be to continue to try and fix him and to intervene. Since he’s being controlled by Eve, this might not be possible.

Days Of Our Lives – Jenn Needs To Stay Objective When It Comes To Jack

But Jenn has to do her job, and as a reporter, if she wants to report the news in an unbiased manner, she will have to force herself to be objective. She needs to put aside her personal feelings and experiences with Jack in the past.

Jenn will need to realize that Jack may not be the only one playing dirty politics with Eve’s help. Other Days of Our Lives spoilers tease Melinda Trask (Laura Kai Chen) will play dirty as well.
