Last week Perry was rushed to the hospital after a 911 call was made from his California residence, the actor had reportedly suffered from a massive stroke. After fighting to come back over the weekend in the hospital, reports have confirmed that the actor has passed away.
TMZ reported, “Luke passed away Monday morning at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank. According to his rep, Luke was surrounded by his children Jack and Sophie, fiance Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, brother Tom Perry, sister Amy Coder, and other close family and friends.”
While Luke Perry rose to infamy after his performance in Beverly Hills 90210, diehard soap fans will recall that he also appeared in ABC soap opera Loving, and NBC soap opera Another World.
