The Young and the Restless RECAP Thursday, October 18: Kyle Ditches Lola For Summer – Billy Brags About Hook-up

“The Young and the Restless” recap for Thursday, October 18, 2018 reveals that over at Jabot, Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) goes off on Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) for sleeping with her daughter. Summer Newman (Hunter King) thought she and Billy had a real connection. Summer leaves.

Billy Rubs Summer Hook-up In Phyllis’ Face

Billy makes the comment of how sweet it was getting it on with the daughter of the two people who screwed him over. Phyllis smacks him and then screams about him taking his frustrations out on her daughter. She reminds him they were broken up when she slept with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

Billy tells Phyllis she likes to keep a man on a string. Then tells her he did it so she’d have to live with the image of him and Summer together just like he is tortured by her and Nick.

At Crimson Lights, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) wants to celebrate Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) homecoming. Inside, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) apologizes for not texting Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle). He let’s her know he has been caught up with family drama. He wants them to go out but before doing so Lola wants to know about his grave robbing. Kyle explains and she understands why he did it. Tessa and Mariah appear, and Mariah is introduced to Lola, who suggests they double date. They decide to have game night.

Nate Visits Lily

At Walworth, Nate Hastings (Brooks Darnell) updates Lily Ashby (Christel Khalil) on her father and Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) romance. Lily is upset that Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) missed his visit with her and Nate agrees to find out why.

At the penthouse, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) arrives home with Charlie Ashby (Noah Alexander) and Shauna Nelson (Camryn Hamm) who won her swimming race. Nate arrives and admires Shauna’s metal. He asks if anyone has heard from Cane Ashby before admitting he missed his visit with Lily Ashby. After Nate leaves, Charlie feels guilty for enjoying life while Lily is locked up. Devon advises Lily would want him to be happy.

Kyle And Lola Party With Mariah And Tessa

At the Abbott mansion, Kyle Abbott, Lola Rosales, Mariah Copeland, and Tessa Porter have drinks and game night. After charades is a bust they decide to play truth or dare. Later, Kyle gets a text from Summer Newman which he ignores then the doorbell rings. Summer shows up insisting she needs to talk. Mariah asks what she is doing there. Kyle points out she is obviously upset and needs a friend.

Mariah then points out that she has never been a friend to Kyle. Kyle apologizes to Lola and the three ladies leave. Summer updates Kyle about Billy Abbott. Kyle advises her to face it head on. Summer thanks him with a hug.

At the Athletic Club, Nate Hastings confronts Cane Ashby and learns he skipped his meeting with Lily Ashby due to work. Cane admits he is on eggshells when he visits and Nate tells him he will have to get over that. Nate tells Cane Lily needs him. After, Cane joins Billy Abbott at the bar. They snark at one another. Cane admits he done something unforgivable today. Bill admits he done something and took things too far.

Kyle Ditches Lola To Comfort Summer

Over at a table, Mariah Copeland can’t believe Kyle Abbott let Summer Newman hijack their night. Lola can. Lola worries that Kyle has ledt the door open to Summer. After Lola leaves, Mariah talks about Kyle messing things up with Lola. Kyle appears looking for Lola. Mariah informs him he blew it.

Summer and Phyllis Make Up

Summer Newman returns to Jabot and finds Phyllis Summers upset. Summer apologizes to her mother. They decide they are both better without that loser and hug. And that’s a wrap. Don’t forget to check often with Soap Opera Spy for all your soap needs!
