Shanica’s last may named sound familiar. She’s actually the cousin of R&B icons Beyonce and Solange Knowles. Shanica has appeared in a few Disney movies and TV shows. Most recently she starred in the Lifetime biopic “Surviving Compton.”

According to Y&R spoilers, Shanica will be playing the part of a singer named Simone who catches Devon’s eye. Will their relationship be strictly business, or could she be a new love interest?
