General Hospital Spoilers: Will Spencer Bring His Grandmother, Laura Home to Port Charles?

General Hospital spoilers tease that Spencer (Nicolas Bechtel) might be the one that will end up bringing Laura (Genie Francis) home. As a matter of fact, there’s a strong possibility that actor Nicolas Bechtel will not only be reprising his role in Port Charles, but will be the one that will end up bringing his grandmother back to where she belongs – and that’s at home with her family.

Nicolas has been taking a break from daytime television in order to work on his Disney Channel show Stuck in the Middle. But now that the show is no longer on air, there’s a chance that he might return to General Hospital. It hasn’t been confirmed, but fans are hoping to see him back in Port Charles sooner rather than later.

What’s more, a lot of fans are hoping that Spencer’s return might mean that we will be seeing actress Genie Francis again. She was dropped from her full-time contract earlier this year, a move that sent shockwaves throughout the industry. Her character Laura ended up moving to Europe to tend to her grandson. But if Spencer comes back then chances are Laura will return with him.

According to ABC Soaps in Depth, a lot of viewers blamed General Hospital executive producer Frank Valentini for Laura’s dismissal. But the actress defended him on Twitter, insisting that he had no part in seeing her let go. She wrote to her fans at the time, “It has been painful to see Frank receive so much of the blame for the decision to take me off contract. No one fought harder to reestablish Laura on General Hospital.”
