General Hospital News: Leslie Charleson OUT – GH Actress Sidelined By Medical Emergency

General Hospital spoilers and comings and goings reveal that iconic ABC soap star Leslie Charleson is off the daytime drama until further notice.

According to the official General Hospital Twitter page, the role of Monica Quartermaine will be temporarily played by another actress while Leslie is recuperating from a tumble.

The account tweeted that poor Leslie had fallen after tripping over her dog Riley Rose, and seriously injured her leg.  So far Leslie has not addressed the incident, or revealed how long she will be off the soap.

Soap Opera Spy would like to wish her well, and we can’t wait to see the Port Charles legend back on our TV screens!
