Poor Leslie fell after tripping over her dog Riley Rose, and seriously injured her leg. The role of Monica Quartermaine was temporarily played by Patty McCormack while Leslie was recuperating from her tumble.
Fans have been anxiously awaiting for Leslie’s return and today Leslie tweeted that she is coming back July 23, 2018. As soon as Leslie tweeted her return, fans jumped on twitter and tweeted how happy they were!
