Nicole also wanted Holly to be raised with her half-brother Parker (Christian Ganiere). Brady and Chloe actually were previously married from 2005-2008, but Brady destroyed their marriage through his drug addiction. So it’s understandable that they may still have a bond.
It’s also understandable why Brady would side in with Chloe and against his stepbrother Eric Brady (Greg Vaughn) where Holly is concerned. He believes that the written letter trumps Nicole’s words, which Brady feels that were a way to convince Eric to get out of the unsafe building they were in and leave her behind.
She did tell Eric to take care of Holly, and Brady did witness that at the time, but he still feels the written letter carries more weight, and in a court of law, it would. Anything not in writing would be considered hearsay and not considered in court. With Brady and Chloe banding together in such an emotion-filled situation, it wouldn’t be surprising if long ago embers suddenly turned into flames!
The custody battle between Brady and Chloe, Eric and Sarah, (Linsey Godfrey) and possibly Maggie Horton Kiriakis, (Suzanne Rogers) Holly’s grandmother, promises to be full of drama, and with an unexpected twist sometime in 2019 when a not-so-dead Nicole Walker returns to Salem!
Will Days of Our Lives viewers find out Chloe already knew Nicole is alive, or will she be as shocked as everyone else? Will Nicole then want to reclaim Holly from whoever has her at the time?
