Days Of Our Lives RECAP Thursday, July 5: Ciara Is In Serious Danger

“Days Of Our Lives” (DOOL) recap for Thursday, July 5, 2018, Brady (Eric Martsolf) has Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) to testify against Theresa (Jen Lilley) at the custody hearing.

Ted Pulls Out All The Stops

Theresa and Brady argue in court, the judge stops them. Chloe tells the court about Theresa leaving her with Mateo (Andoni Gracia). Chloe also tells the court that Theresa warned Mateo that John (Drake Hogestyn) and Paul (Christopher Sean) were coming.

Justin (Wally Kurth) says Theresa was almost to blame for three deaths. Ted (Gilles Marini) questions Chloe about the job offer and the letter to Lucas (Bryan Dattilo). Ted questions how Theresa could have helped her if she stayed in Mexico.

Ted points out that Chloe, Brady and Eve (Kassie DePaiva), as well as John and Paul, would lie for her. Ted brings up Chloe’s club and Eve’s alibi. Ted also brings up Nicole’s (Arianna Zucker) baby’s trial and Chloe’s lies. Ted brings up Brady almost being killed in Canada.

Ted points out that Brady is a flight risk and cannot be trusted. Justin questions Chloe about suing for Holly. Chloe talks about her son growing up without a father and no loving mother would wish that on her child. The judge orders a ten-minute recess.

Ted asks Theresa again about shared custody, she went through that as a kid and doesn’t want it for Tate (Colin and Kyle Schroeder). Ted has one more trick up his sleeve. Justin wants to call one more witness as well. Justin wants Tate to testify, Brady refuses to allow it.

Ted calls Eve to the stand in the custody hearing. Ted brings up Brady’s love life. Ted mentions that Brady was engaged to Theresa while he became engaged to Eve.

Ted brings up J.J. (Casey Moss) and Eve. Ted questions why Eve got with Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) and brings up the amulet. Ted tells the court that Brady planted the evidence on Eve. Ted quotes Eve’s statement about Brady possibly killing Deimos.

Hope Talks To Eric About Ciara And Ben

Days Of Our Lives’ Hope (Kristian Alfonso) is on the phone checking on Ben’s prescription refills.   Hope makes the pharmacy promise to contact the police. Eric (Greg Vaughan) shows up and brings food to the police department.

Hope tells Eric they don’t have proof that Ciara (Victoria Konefal) is with Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), just circumstantial evidence. Hope fills Eric in on the evidence they have. Hope tells Eric that Ciara said a man rescued her and that she was in pain. Hope tells Eric that Ben has not refilled his medicine and worries if he is off of it.

Rafe Vows To Find Ciara

Days Of Our Lives’ Rafe (Galin Gering) questions Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) and Tripp (Lucas Adams) about Ciara’s phone call. Rafe tells Claire and Tripp the police believe Ciara is with Ben. Rafe wants to know if Claire or Tripp heard any background noise, a train or something.

Claire says Ciara would never willingly go anywhere with Ben. Hope recalls her conversation with Ciara but tells Rafe she has nothing new. Rafe tells Hope that Claire and Tripp don’t remember anything unusual. Hope blames herself, Rafe tells her both he and Ciara love her and vows to find Ciara

Ben’s Paranoia Begins To Take Over

Days Of Our Lives’ Ben runs into the cabin, Ciara wants to know if anything is wrong. Ben is visibly scared and tells Ciara they are in big trouble. Ben tells Ciara that there is an APB out on him and its Ciara’s fault. Ben cannot refill his meds because of the cops at the pharmacy.

Ben accuses Ciara of telling Hope she is with him. Ciara tells Ben he has taken good care of her and she wouldn’t tell her mom anything. Ben tells Ciara about talking to Chad (Billy Flynn) and where he was dropped off.

Ciara wants to call Hope and tell her she’s ok, Ben says no. Ben tells Ciara she can’t tell Hope because she will never believe her. Ciara promises Ben that he will not go back to the sanitorium. Ciara begs Ben to let her help him, he wants her to shut up and let him think.

Ben broke the phone and accuses Ciara of lying. Ben thinks he handcuffed Ciara to the bed, he sees it in his head. Ciara tells Ben she doesn’t want to leave the cabin, he doesn’t believe her. Ben accuses Ciara of lying to him and calls her a whore like the rest of them. Ciara picks up her knife, Ben questions why she has it. Ben believes Ciara thinks he is a killer like everyone else.

Eric And Chloe Talk About The Hearing

Days Of Our Lives’ Eric delivers food to Doug (Billy Hayes) and Julie’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) place. Chloe takes the food and tells Eric about testifying at the custody hearing. Eric didn’t realize things were go bad between Brady and Theresa.

Chloe tells Eric about Nicole and Holly being brought up in court. Eric wonders if Chloe has heard from Nicole. Chloe hasn’t heard from Nicole, Eric still believes Brady made her leave. Chloe tells Eric he is with Jennifer now.

Claire And Tripp Kiss Again

Days Of Our Lives’ Tripp believes Ciara is safe, Ben would not be released if he wasn’t sane. Claire has a panic attack, Tripp gives her a paper bag to breathe in. Claire is afraid for Ciara, she and Tripp don’t know how would have survived without each other. Claire and Tripp kiss.
