The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Will Cane’s Decision To Target Billy In L.A. Cost Him His Marriage?

The Young and the Restless spoilers tell us that Cane Ashby’s (Daniel Goddard) troubles are far from over. Just as Cane and Lily’s (Christel Khalil) marriage is starting to slowly heal, Jesse shows up in Genoa City. Jesse is the camera man that Cane hired to record the behind the scene footage of the Brass & Sassy / NHL commercial shoot, hoping to make Billy look bad.

Cane paid Jesse off to cut the footage to make it look like Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) was gambling, making bets with two NHL players. The footage was accidentally leaked on GC Buzz causing more trouble than Cane intended. It started with Juliet (Laur Allen) being fired, which leads to the sexual harassment lawsuit against Cane.

“Y&R” spoilers reveal that Jesse is in town looking for a bigger payoff than what Cane initially paid, $25,000 to be exact. Jesse wants to get paid one way or another, so he turns to Billy with an offer to share the information for a price.

Billy has believed all along that he had been set up and is willing to pressure Jesse to get to the truth. Cane could have turned to his Step-Mom Jill (Jess Walton) for the money but did not want to upset her by learning what he did to Billy.

Cane is just starting to rebuild Lily’s trust in him, he promised there were no more secrets. Desperate to not hurt Lily again, he decides to raid the twins college funds to pay off Jesse. Lily and Mattie (Lexi Stevenson) walk in just as Cane was in the process of transferring the funds, this can not end well for Cane.

Feeling the stress and guilt will Cane complete the transfer using the twins college fund to pay Jesse off, or will he abort his plan and come clean? Would Lily and the twins be forgiving?
