The Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday July 12: Juliet Confirms Cane’s the Father – Nick Causes Concert Drama – Chloe Confesses to Kevin

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, July 12, tease that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will find herself facing even more pressure. At the ranch, Nikki learns Victor (Eric Braeden) arranged for an interview with Hilary (Mishael Morgan). Although Nikki isn’t pleased, she refuses to bail. Hilary quizzes Nikki about the concert as well as her relationship with Victor.

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) also has to answer a few uncomfortable questions about her parents’ marriage. Elsewhere, Nick (Joshua Morrow) explains his plot to Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). He reveals that his soundboard sabotage is sure to cancel the event.

At the venue, Abby (Melissa Ordway) tries to convince the safety inspector that the smoking soundboard can be fixed. She breathes down a tech guy’s neck in hopes of hurrying the process along. Victor arrives with Victoria and Nikki a little later. They all get up to speed on the soundboard problems.

When Victoria acts like her sister dropped the ball, Abby rips into her. Victor and the safety inspector debate whether the soundboard can be repaired in time. Eventually, Vic tells the Newman clan that the concert can’t go on. However, it looks like Victor will do whatever he can to turn things around in Thursday’s Y&R episode.

In the meantime, Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will have a confession to make. At a hotel, Kevin (Greg Rikaart) hears all about Chloe’s scheme with Victor. She notes that he scored her release and she worked with him to frame Adam (Justin Hartley). Chloe points out that she was the woman in the security footage from the state pen.

Kevin promises that he understands what Chloe’s been through and why she made risky choices. After they make love, Kevin insists that he’s not worried about Victor. He thinks they can handle anything that comes their way.

Back in Genoa City, Juliet (Laur Allen) fills Cane (Daniel Goddard) in on the paternity results. She admits that Cane is the father, but doesn’t want him to think he has to be involved in this kid’s life. After Juliet departs, Cane sheds tears over all the baby drama.

Lily (Christel Khalil) urges Cane to track Juliet down and plead for a chance to be there for this child. She argues that Cane should step up and be a good father. Across town, Juliet meets with Hilary. She divulges the details of her visit with Cane and expresses concern about Lily’s involvement.

Billy (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will also spend some time together in Wednesday’s “Young and the Restless” episode. On the pool deck, Phyllis sips a drink as Billy fills her in on work issues. They share some kisses and hear a recap of the paternity confirmation from Juliet.
