‘The Young and the Restless’ RUMOR: Kevin and Chloe Remarried – Bella’s DNA Secret Shocker Derails Marriage?

Viewers are only weeks away from participating in Khloe’s next wedding on ‘The Young and the Restless’. It will take place in the Chancellor mansion and be officiated by Todd Williams (Corbin Bernsen). Along with renewed nuptials will come a paternity reveal.

Soap operas often honor their histories in various ways. That’s why the nice touch of including Bernsen in ‘Khloe’s’ wedding is fitting, as the ‘Grande Dame’s’ photo looks lovingly over the gathered throng.

Loyal fans recall that Esther (Kate Linder) was Katherine Chancellor’s (played by the late Jeanne Cooper) longtime maid and is also Chloe’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) mom.

Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and Chloe are soul mates. Some chatter exists about Hendrickson moving to recurring status in the spring, which would reduce Chloe’s presence in Genoa City within months. So it makes sense that Bella’s (Cali May Kinder) paternity storyline would play out before that off-screen result takes place.

Chloe left Wisconsin nearly three years ago with Billy’s (then played by Billy Miller) stolen DNA sample. She was not in her right mind at the time, still grieving Delia’s (Sophie Pollono) loss and believing that Adam (then played by Michael Muhney) was responsible for her daughter’s accidental death.

After an apparent successful procedure, Chloe gave birth to her second daughter who she named Bella. Y&R’s writing staff created that moniker to honor the Bell family (the late Bill Bell and his wife Lee Phillip Bell) during the occasion of the show’s 11,000 episode in September. Lee Phillip Bell also appeared in a classy cameo during that milestone show.

Kevin naturally thought that Bella might be his child, but a subsequent paternity test confirmed that he wasn’t. While Billy (now played by Jason Thompson) has understandably been teased as the father, Scott’s (Daniel Hall) return to Genoa City and presence in the background of the wedding photo is intriguing.

Wouldn’t it be soapily significant if Kevin’s friend was unmasked as being Bella’s dad? Chloe previously said that Bella’s father was someone she met while she was in California. Scott is a world-traveling journalist. Isn’t it possible that their paths crossed?
