‘General Hospital’ News: Stephen A. Smith Returns To ‘GH’

Last year we saw a new face making an appearance several different times on General Hospital and now we will see that familiar face again.

General Hospital casting news indicates that Stephen A. Smith is set to appear on GH again soon. You may all remember his scenes with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Stephen A. Smith played the part of Brick, a surveillance expert for the mob, who worked along side Maurice. So wonder what information the surveillance expert has for Sonny Corinthos this time?

GH’s executive producer, Frank Valentini, shared a photo of Smith posing with Maurice Benard in the set of Sonny’s living room and teased,” Look who dropped by GH to tape some more scenes! Great guy!” Hopefully, this means that Stephen’s character Brick will have some valuable information into what happened the night of Morgan Corinthos’s (Bryan Craig) untimely death.

Stephen A. Smith is a sports reporter and hosts his own SiriusXM radio show. Stephen is a huge GH fan who watched the show everyday after school growing up. Maurice Benard was a guest on Espn’s First take where he learned of Stephen’s passion for GH and arranged for him to have the role as Brick.

Smith said he had watched the show for so long that he knew Sonny and his mannerisms. So, that definitely helped him with his part. It also helped him to keep calm while playing it. It would be great if Brick had details that put the storyline of the car bomber to an end. It has been going on for quite a while.
