General Hospital News: Sources Confirm Steve Burton Is Returning To GH!

General Hospital (GH) news and spoilers indicate that Steve Burton is set to make a BIG comeback to General Hospital. After days of speculation and buzz on social media, it seems the rumor is true after all.

According to Daytime Confidential, Jamey Giddens revealed that there is buzz on the GH set about Burton’s return, and it is definitely happening.

Another insider for soap spoilers states a big announcement regarding Steve Burton is scheduled to drop soon and it confirms that Burton is definitely back on General Hospital. With this being said, many General Hospital fans are expecting Burton to return to Port Charles as Jason Morgan, but who he will be playing has not yet been revealed.

Steve Burton could arrive as a new character, or as the “real” Jason Morgan. Many on social media have speculated that the two Jason’s will face off and it will shock residents in Port Charles when they realize the Jason Morgan they have learned to love and accept with a new face may not be Jason at all. This will undoubtedly be a huge shock and create some serious drama, especially for Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco).

Steve Burton exited the role as Jason Morgan back in October of 2012 when he was supposedly killed by Cesar Faison and kicked into the water and then Jason was presumably back but with a new face in 2015. Since Burton left the show, he portrayed the role as Dylan on The Young and the Restless and just recently he has exited that role and has joined his wife in “Burton Nutrition” where he strives to help his fans in getting healthy.
