Days Of Our Lives Casting Shocker – Lisa Rinna Returns!

Even though many characters are coming back in fall 2017, there are a few who will not make appearances until the beginning of 2018. According to Entertainment Weekly, this includes Rinna. Her exact air date was not revealed, just to expect her next year.

However, “Days of Our Lives” spoilers tease that she begins taping her episodes this week. Since “DOOL” films several months in advance, that would put Billie’s return around February or March 2018.

Newer viewers might not know Billie Reed. She was introduced to fans in 1992 and appeared on-and-off until 2013. When she left Salem the last time, it was to take a job in Europe. She is a former ISA agent and was also a police officer.

The reason for Billie Reed’s return to Salem or what kind of storylines to expect were not revealed. What is known is that Lisa Rinna is just the latest actress to come back to “Days of Our Lives.” Spoilers have already teased that Alison Sweeney, Chandler Massey, Eileen Davidson and Kassie de Paiva are coming back.

Head writer Ron Carlivati teased to Soap Opera Digest several weeks ago that there could be at least one other character returning that had not been announced. It seems that Billie Reed is that character. Now, fans just need to figure out what makes her come back and how it will affect the storylines.

Both Eileen Davidson and Lisa Rinna were on another show together, Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” It is interesting how they are both coming back to make appearances on the NBC soap opera.
