Liz Dawn’s family confirmed that the actress passed away at her home on Monday September 25, she was 77 years old. The Corrie star’s family released this statement, “We are devastated and heartbroken at the passing of our much-loved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother, the incredible Liz Dawn. She has been the love, light and inspiration in our lives and we are bereft at her passing.”

Recently, Liz Dawn opened up with the Daily Mail about her health issues and upcoming surgery. The 77 year old was struggling with a heart condition and lung disease, but seemed to be in good spirits.
