‘The Young and The Restless’ Spoilers: Nick Tells Chelsea About Bethany/Victor Connection, Romance In Future For Them?

Nick (Joshua Morrow) learned about Bethany’s (Chrishell Stause) connection to Victor (Eric Braeden) on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Of course, this sets up yet another confrontation between these combative family members. But, this information opens a pathway to Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) as well.

Paul (Doug Davidson) previously questioned Victor about his tie to Bethany. The ‘Moustache’ responded with a half-truth, saying that he had paid the woman, but had done so to aim her in Billy’s (Jason Thompson) direction. Of course, Victor omitted that he gave Bethany $3 million to pretend to be Adam’s framer and leave town. Paul sensed the truth was being withheld and didn’t buy the other half of Victor’s boloney sandwich.

But, Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) was the mystery woman who Victor met with in prison. She wore the wigs. She assisted in creating fake diary pages that implicated Adam in Constance Bingham’s (Sally Kellerman) murder. Later, one of Victor’s henchman arranged evidence, in what was believed to be Bethany’s residence, to create the appearance of a framer’s abode. So, based on the newness of leads, it’s understandable that Paul and Dylan (Steve Burton) believe that Bethany was the mystery woman who’s linked to Victor and therefore, Adam’s unjust imprisonment.

Nick previously relented to Adam’s plea for help. Now, it’s natural that he’ll inform Chelsea that the Genoa City Police Department believes Victor was responsible for orchestrating Adam’s frame from the start. Considering that Nick is a widower and Chelsea is separated from her spouse, who might remain in prison on a new charge of attacking a prison guard, the opportunity for these two poor souls to bond is ripe.

Chelsea was recently pushed off Adam, who believes he’s helping his wife by cutting emotional ties. Nick continues to deal with Christian’s apparent death and Sage’s (Kelly Sullivan) shocking demise. Sparks fly on the soaps in many instances and this developing scenario seems to set the stage for a new romantic connection, ‘Chick’.
