‘The Young and The Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday April 5: Shawn’s Gone With Baby, Cancels Adoption – Victor Wants Revenge for Attack – Sharon Puzzled by Sully Memory

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, April 5, tease that Victor (Eric Braeden) will wake up in pain after facing a brutal attack in prison. At the hospital, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) tells Victor what happened and asks who came after him. Victor wants Nikki to get out. Nikki argues with Victor for a moment before stomping off.

Nearby, Sage (Kelly Sullivan) remains hopeful about the open adoption. She thinks Shawn (Devon Martinez) will go for it. Nick (Joshua Morrow) seems uncertain. Nikki appears and gives them updates on Victor being attacked. She’s fearful that it might happen again. Next time, someone could finish him off. Nick has a suggestion that might keep Victor safe.

Meanwhile, Sharon (Sharon Case) has another nightmare about Sully. She dreams that Nurse Stevens is trying to take Sully away. Sharon asks Dylan (Steve Burton) if he thinks these nightmares are connected to something she’s trying to remember. Dylan admits that Dr. Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush) was trouble, but points out that everything seemed to turn out OK with their baby.

After getting a call from Nick, Dylan says he’s heading over to the hospital. He notices that Sully feels a little warm as he’s leaving. Sharon thinks Sully is simply teething. Later, she determines that Sully’s fever is higher and takes him to get checked out.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers indicate that Nick and Sage will get some crushing news. They learn Shawn was discharged and she took David with her. In a note, Shawn says she knows this will hurt Sage and Nick. She’s sorry she couldn’t face them and she’s thankful for everything they’ve done. Nick and Sage share a hug.

At Crimson Lights, Nick confesses that he’s somewhat relieved. Even though the outcome isn’t what they hoped for, Nick feels better knowing where things stand. Sage is upset, but Nick says they’ll get through this. They lean in for a kiss.

In Victor’s room, Dylan asks questions about who attacked him. Victor stays tight-lipped, so Dylan figures he wants to get revenge on the person who did it. Dylan urges Victor to stay safe in prison. Nikki is obviously concerned. Victor seems confused and asks who Nikki is. It looks like we could have a case of amnesia going on here.

Elsewhere, a doctor informs Sharon that her child is going to be fine. Nurse Stevens walks in and holds Sully. As she sings a lullaby, Sharon has a flashback of the nurse singing it to Sully at Fairview. She remembers hearing Nurse Stevens say the baby was crying for his mother.

At Newman Enterprises, Billy (Jason Thompson) brings flowers to Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and says he’s sorry about last night. Victoria is glad to hear it, but she’s still suing over Passkey. Billy gets irritated and claims Passkey was stolen from him first.

Michael (Christian LeBlanc) comes in and urges them to work it out. Victoria insists that Billy needs to get an attorney. She’s taking him to court. Afterwards, Victoria turns to Victor’s portrait. She vows to do whatever it takes.

At the athletic club, Jack (Peter Bergman) tells Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) that they should get Billy and Victoria back together. He thinks that’s the best way to calm the waters, but Phyllis isn’t so sure. Billy arrives and gripes about Victoria. Jack mentions his brother’s guilt in all of this. Billy ends up storming out. Jack finds Nikki at the bar and she confides that she feels bad about what happened to Victor. Jack wants to be her sponsor.

At Billy’s house, he vents to Phyllis about Jack. Phyllis points out that the lawsuit needs to be taken seriously. They drink and Billy moves closer. Phyllis declares that she can’t let Billy lean on her for support. She rushes out. Billy continues to drink as Phyllis gazes in the window. Y&R rumors hint that a romance is brewing for these two.
