‘The Young And The Restless’ RUMOR: Could Billy And Phyllis Get Too Close – Cheat On Jack And Victoria?

‘The Young And The Restless’ rumor mill is in overdrive this week – hinting that there may be something in the works between Billy Abbott and his sister-in-law Phyllis.  This week Jack (Peter Bergman) was talking to Neil (Kristoff St. John) and assisting him to stay sober, his dear wife Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and his brother Billy (Jason Thompson) were caught by Jack coming down the stairs of the Athletic Club, clearly from the room Natalie occupies at the club.

Surely they were not expecting that Jack would be at the club, or that he would he think anything of it if he were to see them. Jack has no idea that Phyllis was the one to have Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) kidnapped. What will he do when he learns that his wife went to such great lengths and that she and his brother are plotting to bring down the mighty Victor Newman?

Billy and Phyllis are in about their third plot to bring Victor (Eric Braeden) to his knees. Let’s not forget what they did with the use of the paragon project. The project caused major disaster at the Victor’s company ‘Newman Enterprises’, but that only lasted for a short while. Now here comes this new project, will their attempt through this new project bring them the same results as the paragon project did? Victor is clearly the most powerful man in Genoa City – so their attempt may be successful, but most likely only for a short while before Victor rises and dethrones them.

Phyllis has helped Billy alot lately with his drinking issues and dealing with death of his daughter Delia. With their plots against Victor they have been spending a lot of time together. Will this lead them to eventually having feelings for each other? Will Billy go to bed with his own brother’s wife?  It certainly would not be the first time, as he did bed Sharon (Sharon Case) while she was with Jack. What does this mean for Jack and Phyllis’ relationship?
