‘The Young and the Restless’ News: Yvette Nicole Brown Guest Starring On ‘YR’ – Watch Preview Here!

I’m loving this news for ‘The Young and the Restless!’ The top-rated soap is welcoming Yvette Nicole Brown to the cast for a guest appearance, and we have the ‘YR‘ preview for the April 4 episode.

Yvette Nicole Brown is currently known for her role on CBS’ rebooted version of ‘The Odd Couple.’ You can also find Brown geeking out on ‘The Talking Dead‘ with Chris Hardwick as she discusses her passion for ‘The Walking Dead.’ Yvette is bringing that same passion and enthusiasm to the set of ‘The Young and Restless.‘

“This is surreal to me. I kinda feel like I’m dreaming!” Brown said as she prepared for her role as a report on the set of ‘YR.’ “This is huge! We are actually in Genoa City and it’s huge and looks as opulent and amazing as it does on television. I just met Jack Abbot who plays Peter Bergman,” Yvette said before adding, “I’m sweating at the thought of him taking a picture with me!”

When asked about a fictional love interest, Brown quickly stated, “I gotta go with Neil Winters (played by Kristoff St. John). I don’t know if that’s just too on the nose, but I gotta go with Neil.” As for the character’s rehab trip, Yvette Nicole Brown insists she is going to wait it out. “I will be with Billy until he comes out of rehab, then I’m gonna be with Neil after he works through his demons,” Brown explained. “My love will be waiting,” she added with a laugh. Of course, that’s a purely fictitious plot, but how fun would that be?

As for Brown’s ‘YR’ guest star role, she will play a meddling reporter, Lois. “I think she is a busybody, and I think any time something happens in Genoa City she should just come out from behind a pillar with her little recorder going, ‘I have some questions!’”
