‘The Young And The Restless’ News: Sofia Pernas’ Big Move To Primetime On Hold

‘The Young and the Restless’ Sofia Pernas [Marisa Sierras] won’t be making the move to primetime just yet. The horror drama ‘Transylvania’ is not on the current fall schedule. Sofia had been cast to portray Coriander.

Sofia was placed on recurring status on ‘Y&R’ and then relocated to Toronto in order to film ‘Transylvania.’ The change in Sofia’s status from contract to recurring made viewers wonder if the romance between Noah Newman [Robert Adamson] and Marisa had come to a screeching halt.

The storyline for Marisa was never completely written out and fans will see the brunette back in Genoa City. Whether or not Marisa and Noah’s romance will continue is not yet known. Robert was also bumped to recurring status about the same time as Sofia.

‘Transylvania’ may not have been picked up but it appears that Sofia Pernas still has a place at ‘The Young and the Restless’ for now. No one is quite sure when viewers will begin seeing more of Marisa in Genoa City but she will be back.

When Sofia was bumped to recurring status things had cooled down between Noah and Marisa. Things were heating back up with ex-husband Luca Santori [Miles Gaston Villenueva].

Now Marisa’s ex-husband Luca Santori [Miles Gaston Villenueva] is involved in a hot new romance with Summer Newman [Hunter King]. When next ‘Y&R’ viewers see Marisa will she seek a reunion with Luca? Will Summer’s heart be broken once again? Or will Marisa start over with Noah? Does Noah want Marisa back?
