‘Days Of Our Lives’ News: James Read Returning To ‘DOOL’ As Clyde Weston

‘Days Of Our Lives‘ spoilers tease that there will be many fan favorite returns in 2016. Some for brief appearances, short stints, one day returns and extended stays and the latest to join the list seems to be that of James Read (Clyde).

Brandon Beemer recently wrapped up his run as Shawn Douglas Brady by taping his final scenes at the ‘Days of Our Lives’ studio this week, and he shared something interesting on Snapchat. Beemer shared an image of him and his co-star Eric Martsolf (Brady). In the background of the image we can see James Read on a screen.

Jason47 reports that former Days star Brandon Beemer’s Snapchat accidentally shows a monitor in the background with James Read on the screen. This has led many to believe the former Days bad guy will be back on the canvas soon. Read exited the role of bad boy Clyde Weston last year when the character was shipped off to prison for a line of heinous crimes he committed. It was new Salem PD cop JJ (Casey Moss) who set up Clyde so that he could be caught in the act of dealing drugs.

So if indeed Clyde is showing up on our screens again, what could possibly be the reason? Does his son Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) need his help, so he shows up? Read will be among a long list of expected Days returns including Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe), Daniel Cosgrove (Aiden), Matthew Ashford (Jack), Jamie Lynn Bauer (Laura) and Freddie Smith (Sonny).
