‘Days Of Our Lives’ News: Bill And Susan Hayes Return To ‘DOOL’ As Hope’s Parents Doug And Julie

‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal that we will continue to see more of Hope Brady’s (Kristian Alfonso) parents. According to the couple’s official Twitter account there are more scenes to come which includes Bill Hayes (Doug Williams) and Susan Seaforth Hayes (Julie Williams). “Yes, always glad to give D&J sightings: May 17, 18, 24; July 12, 14, 15, 19, 20; Aug 30, 31, Sep 6, 20; Oct 28, 31,” shared the happy couple.

These two stalwarts are definitely ones we can never get tired of. Currently Susan Seaforth Hayes is the longest living tenured cast member of the NBC serial. She has been with the series on and off since 1968. On the other hand, her husband Bill joined in 1970 – and has been with the show on and off since then. Now we get to see more of them – with Doug and Julie there’s no doubt that the scenes will be entertaining.

They were a popular pairing both on screen and in real life back in the 1970’s and the popularity continues even to this date. Often times when they have been absent from scenes for an extended period you’d find fans questioning – what happened to Doug and Julie? Where are they? Well fans – you can gear up to see a lot more of them at least until October as confirmed by them at this point.

Now, with Aiden Jennings’ (Daniel Cosgrove) return, what will Doug and Julie have to say about that? When they first met Aiden they weren’t too fond of him and with all that took place before he was presumed dead it is highly likely they will resent him. When Aiden’s story is really confirmed that the DiMera’s held him captive for months and an impostor was the one who tried to kill Hope, will they sympathize with him? Will they be pushing a Hope and Aiden romance or a Rafe and Hope romance? We will all have to stay tune to find out what takes place!
