‘The Young and The Restless’ (Y&R) Rumors: Gabe & Chelsea Marry – Adam Adopts Connor – Billy Furious!

“The Young and the Restless” is heating up, and it looks like there will be a wedding in the next few months. The rumor is that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam or eh Gabriel (Justin Hartley) will marry, and she will ask him to adopt Connor. Adam reverted back to his old ways, keeping secrets from her- will his deception prevent her from vowing to spend her life with him, again?

Billy (Burgess Jenkins) knows the best way to get to Gabriel is to point out he will never be Connor’s father. The part of the puzzle that Billy is not privileged to know is Gabriel is Adam; therefore, he is Connor’s father. Adam feels trapped pretending to be Gabriel in public, yet he’s free to be Adam at home with his family. Billy told Gabriel, “I know who I am to Connor, but who the hell are you, Gaabbee?”

Immediately, Chelsea pulled Adam away because she knew that was a one-way ticket to trouble. He was locked and loaded ready to go head-to-head with Billy. Let’s face it, even before Delia’s accident, Adam and Billy weren’t the best of friends. Adam told Chelsea that Billy was right, he is no one to Connor but Chelsea’s newest boyfriend. He won’t ever be his father, UNLESS he can come out to the public as Adam.

The newest “Y&R” spoilers reveal a new plan. It is too dangerous for Adam to tell Genoa City his true identity. The spoiler suggested the new plan was he will adopt Connor Newman. Does that mean Connor will be known as Connor Bingham? Please, no. If this is in the cards, can you imagine how Victor (Eric Braeden) would react? He will not allow Adam’s son to be adopted by a stranger.

One thing is certain; the fireworks between Billy and Gabriel are just doing to escalate. Once Billy figures out that Gabriel is Adam, he will be out for blood- Adam’s blood. He will start to put the pieces together that Gabriel has been Adam all along – and Adam is the reason his relationship with Chelsea fell apart- he will retaliate against Adam. The only problem, like most of Adam and Billy’s battles, Chelsea and Connor will be caught in the middle. Will Adam find a way to protect his family from the destruction; he is getting himself into with Ian, Billy and his powerful father?
