‘General Hospital’ Rumors: Fans Petition For Silas Clay Return – Will New GH Writers Listen? 10 Things To Know About Michael Easton

“General Hospital” actor Michael Easton who played Silas Clay on “GH” was killed last week.  We currently do not know who did the deed but we do know Nina Clay was found holding a knife over Silas’ body by Franco.  When news leaked last week that Michael Easton was going to be leaving the show fans took to twitter to express their unhappiness tweeting, “I was always a fan of the show but #MichaelEaston made #GH must watch TV!!” and “Great actor with a storyline that did not bring out his true talents. Still watch his work on OLTL on Youtube Such a talent.”  

Fans are so outraged by Michael leaving they have created a petition that is going around the net to try and force TPTB at “General Hospital” to bring Michael Easton back.  Considering that “GH” just fired Ron Carlivati and new writers Shelly Altman & Jean Passanante will be starting, you never know!  Remember dead is NEVER dead on “GH!”

1. He is an American television actor, poet, author and photographer.
2. He attended prep school in Ireland and England before studying English and history at the University of California and later, film at New York University.
3. Easton has made appearances on television shows such as “Ally McBeal” and “The Practice.”
4. He played the dual lead role in the 1996 thriller series Two, as well as starring roles in two science fiction series: VR.5 and Total recall 2070.
5. Michael enjoys acting, directing, writing, martial arts, gymnastics, and motorcycles and he is often called to do his own stunts.
6. His collection of poetry was published under the title Eighteen Straight Whiskeys.
7. He is the author of the Soul Stealer series of graphic novels.
8. He released the graphic novel Credenceon November 1, 2013.
9. Michael’s father, Stewart, is an engineer. Michael’s mother, Joan, died in 1994 after a two year bout with cancer. During this period, Michael quit acting to care for her. He has a younger brother, Keith, who is a Navy pilot.
10. He is married to a model named Ginevra Arabia in 2004. The couple have two children.
