“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, January 11, tease that Kevin (Greg Rikaart) will have news about Dylan’s (Steve Burton) mission. At the police station, Kevin tells Paul (Doug Davidson) and Christine (Laralee Bell) that Dylan is meeting with Fisk’s number two guy tonight. Sharon (Sharon Case) marches in and interrupts their discussion.
When Sharon demands to talk to Dylan, Paul explains why that isn’t possible. Sharon hears about Kevin’s communication with Dylan. She’s irritated, but Paul just can’t let her risk blowing the case. Sharon snaps that it’ll be on Paul if things go south. After Sharon exits, Paul and Christine instruct Kevin to find out everything he can about the person Dylan is meeting with.
In Miami, Dylan has an edgier look to go along with his new identity. He tries to sound tough when he answers the phone. After shouting at someone about changes and scotch, Dylan heads to his meeting. He meets up with a woman named Alex (Jess Webb), who guesses he expected a male as Fisk’s number two.
Alex wants to get to know “Derek.” Dylan gloats about his life as a playboy and the product he moves. He hints that he’d like to meet Fisk, but Alex would rather have some flirty fun. They down several drinks and head upstairs. Alex points out that she has some cocaine.
Meanwhile, Nick (Joshua Morrow) assures Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) that she won’t be stuck in the middle of conflict anymore. They talk about what’s next for the day as Christian wakes up. Nick promises that he can juggle it all, but Faith doesn’t seem so sure.
Later, Christian splatters food on Nick while he’s on the phone with a nanny candidate. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) drops by with two of her own nanny options. She insists she just wants to help. Nick interviews them and chooses Monica. When Monica heads upstairs to care for Christian, Nick eavesdrops on the baby monitor.
At Newman Enterprises, Victor (Eric Braeden) tells Abby (Melissa Ordway) that he wants to make family time his priority. Abby thinks that’s perfect since she wants to focus on her career. She asks if she can do the next meeting alone and Victor agrees.
Later, Abby gives Victor updates by phone. She secured an even better deal than they were anticipating. Victor beams over Abby’s accomplishment. Nikki comes home and reveals her nanny assistance. She hates that there’s nothing she can do for Dylan. Victor suggests he can help, but Nikki turns him down. They discuss how he’ll be pulling back from work and Nikki is pleased.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Sharon (Sharon Case) will share her fears with Mariah (Camryn Grimes). At home, Sharon tells Mariah that Dylan took this case voluntarily and left his wedding ring behind. She has no way of knowing how much danger he’s facing.
Mariah doesn’t want Sharon to make any risky moves, but she may not get her wish. Sharon will contend that she can’t disregard the warning signs. Y&R rumors hint that major trouble is brewing. Stick with the CBS soap to see what’s in store.
