‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday May 17: Cane’s Devious Move – Phyllis Struggles to Stay Out of Sight – Hilary and Mariah Score Interviews

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, May 17, tease that Lily (Christel Khalil) will worry about the big commercial shoot. In Hollywood, Lily turns to Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) for a pep talk. Cane steps up to reassure her instead. He also notes that Billy (Jason Thompson) hasn’t arrived yet. Cane suggests they’ll have to work around his delay.

In his hotel room, Billy struggles to tear himself away from Phyllis’ (Gina Tognoni) sexiness. He reminds her to keep a low profile since Victoria (Amelia Heinle) wouldn’t approve of her crashing the party. Billy catches up with Victoria and she starts rambling about their family vacation plans. Billy just wants to concentrate on work.

On the rooftop, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and Howard (David Faustino) spot Julie Chen. Hilary decides she wants to meet her journalism hero, so she walks over and praises Julie’s work. Julie turns down Hilary’s interview offer, but agrees to let her go on a tour of ‘The Talk’ set.

Hilary tells Howard she’s not giving up on that interview. She eventually sees Phyllis hanging out in a lounge chair. Hilary promises to forget she saw anything. She’s got bigger problems to deal with right now. Later, Hilary scores her interview. She receives some helpful career advice from Julie.

Elsewhere, some hockey players meet Juliet (Laur Allen) and Cane. As they make their way over to exchange introductions with Lily, Cane complains about Billy’s late arrival. He contends that he had to do all the work for this shoot. Juliet warns everyone on set that they shouldn’t post behind-the-scenes footage without approval.

Back in Genoa City, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) compare notes on Dina (Marla Adams). They mull over whether they should bring Traci (Beth Maitland) in the loop. Jack suggests that Dina just wants to talk, but Ashley maintains that she’s not welcome.

Across town, Dina meets with Devon (Bryton James) at his penthouse. He wants to throw a fun bash to celebrate their deal. Dina fears that her estranged family members wouldn’t approve of her partying. Devon comes up with another way to spread the news.

Neil (Kristoff St. John) and Devon take Dina to the TV studio. They persuade Dina to do an interview with Mariah (Camryn Grimes), but she wants Devon by her side. Devon admits he’s worried Hilary won’t give them the green light. Sure enough, Hilary grumbles when Mariah updates her by phone.

Nevertheless, the interview moves forward and the deal is announced on the air. Jack and Ashley watch the show at home. Dina contends that she sold her company with her family in mind. She’s ready to focus on making amends. Ashley seems irked by Dina’s comments.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Cane will make a devious move. On the commercial set, Billy stands with some hockey players who gush about Lily’s attractiveness. They also kid around about placing bets on their upcoming game.

Cane notices that Billy was caught on camera. He determines that the videographer can edit this to make Billy look bad, so he passes along the orders. Meanwhile, Billy can’t find Phyllis anywhere. Back on the rooftop, Victoria appears and doesn’t realize Phyllis is relaxing up there.
