‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Hilary Recognized Faults When It Was Too Late – Detractors Saw Bad News From the Beginning

Hilary (Mishael Morgan) has finally been honest with herself on ‘The Young and the Restless’. She realized that her actions were egregious and pushed her husband away. Sure, there’s time for ‘Hevon’ to somehow be revived, again. But that’s purely a guess at this point in what should be described as a relationship game.

Treating one’s spouse like a puppet is something various people appear to master. At least that’s what outside observers believe they’re seeing within the lives of other people. Of course, it’s always easier to peer into other people’s windows then to self-analyze. Though Hilary detractors don’t want to read that.

To be sure, Morgan’s character has been quixotic. An unpredictable personality point can be fun when someone isn’t harsh, or selfish. But Hilary has behaved both ways on many occasions. So her defenders will have a thin case to watch if they sit as observers in Genoa City’s divorce court.

It’s hard to argue against Devon (Bryton James) because he’s a good soul. However, that earned distinction doesn’t inoculate him from being exactly one-half of this super couple problem. Though what’s super about this couple?

Hilary broke poor Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) trust when they were married. Yes, but who betrayed his father? Can’t blame Ann Turner for that one. That’s right, the that problem was caused by Devon.

Devon’s recent conclusive opinion about ‘Hevon’s’ origin basically nailed it. These two people were physically attracted to each other and that blush evolved into genuine feelings. But it wasn’t a normal initial spark that set them off on a twisted course. And there’s no doubt that the bicycle built for two that they rode couldn’t survive their ongoing emotional explosions.

Hilary wanted to push her marriage into existence and then imagine all problems away. Devon thought that he could help his wife to grow and then convinced himself that progress was being realized. Now, both people recognized reality and that’s why this duo agreed to part ways.
