‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoiler: Gloria Plotting Hostile Fenmore Takeover – Secretly Helping Lauren?

‘The Young and the Restless’ spoilers for the coming weeks are teasing that Gloria Bardwell (Judith Chapman) could have more selfish reasons for sabotaging Lauren Fenmore’s (Tracey Bregman) fashion business. The Young and the Restless viewers know that since Gloria has returned to Genoa City, she has revealed many things that have transpired in her life prior to her return.

Gloria recently divorced and ultimately, it left her broke, without a penny so of course she would be looking for ways to financially secure her future to make up for her misfortune.

As we also saw, Gloria hit Lauren up for a job with her company but was turned down. Gloria knows that Lauren’s company is in a bad way due to her recent snooping behind Lauren’s back. Now that Lauren has shot Gloria down for a job with her business—Gloria could be looking for payback against her daughter-in-law and what better way than to assist Jack Abbott in a hostile takeover.

In the recent episode of ‘The Young and the Restless’, we saw Gloria calling Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and offering her assistance in helping him with bringing down Lauren’s business for a price. Of course, Jack has not been very discreet in telling his family what he was planning. Jack has already told several people what he is planning to do in the coming weeks.

Now that Gloria is behind him as well, will Jack succeed in taking away Lauren’s company? This certainly will not make Gloria any more favorable in Lauren’s eyes, should she find out what her mother-in-law is doing behind her back.

Is Gloria secretly trying to help Lauren or is she truly siding with Jack to bring down Lauren and her business? It could go either way at this point. It’s too soon to know for sure. Stay tuned to The Young and the Restless to see what shocking move Gloria will make next.
