The Young and the Restless RUMOR: Juliet Pregnant? – Claims Cane is Baby’s Dad When He’s Not

Cane (Daniel Goddard) believed that Juliet (Laur Allen) has been lying on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But her collapse and pregnancy reveal would appear to prove the opposite. However, the chance that another man could be her baby’s father will establish the need for a paternity test. Devoted Y&R fans know how reliable many Genoa City laboratories have been in the past.

Y&R has created a layered mystery that is keeping fans guessing about the real truth within this storyline. At first it appeared as though Cane got carried away after drinking too much sake in Tokyo, Japan. Mr. Ashby, like the viewers, were shocked to learn that he’d spent the night with Juliet in his hotel suite. However, enough information was withheld from the audience to make it doubt Miss Helton’s claim.

Possibly the amount of liquor she drank caused her to believe she was with Cane when she wasn’t. Even when hotel security video confirmed these Brash and Sassy colleagues had entered Cane’s room and Juliet exited the next morning, it still seemed like something wasn’t quite right.

Did Juliet set Cane up from the start, or if not then maybe she was just reacting with understandable anger after being unjustly fired by Vickie (Amelia Heinle)? But proof that at least she was honest about her night with Cane appears to be emerging. Whether Juliet actually knows that he’s her baby’s dad, he’s a possibility or if she’s simply making this additional claim to exact revenge remains unknown.

Various Y&R fans had been questioning whether this storyline was believable, or worthwhile to present at this point in ‘Lane’s’ history. However, if Juliet is pregnant and Cane is the father of her baby then the trajectory of Goddard’s character will be permanently altered.
