The Young and the Restless News: Y&R Sources Confirm Recast For Adam Newman Is Happening

The Young and the Restless spoilers and rumors are hinting that we may see an Adam Newman recast sooner than we anticipated.  Since Justin Hartley’s 2016 exit and Adam’s “death,” Y&R fans have been hoping the CBS soap opera would bring back the original portrayer, Michael Muhney.  However, it looks like that is not the case.

In a recent Daytime Confidential podcast, Jamey Giddens revealed that his sources are saying the search is on for a new Adam Newman.  And, although TPTB at the CBS soap are mum regarding the recasting, he did reveal that it wouldn’t be a former soap star.
