‘The Young And The Restless’ News: The Real Reason Justin Hartley Wasn’t Nominated For A Daytime Emmy Award

The official list of 2017 Daytime Emmy Award pre-nominations was released today, and The Young and the Restless fans were quick to notice one name was not on the list – fan favorite Justin Hartley.

Sure, Hartley has moved on to primetime series ‘This Is Us’ on NBC, however the awards are based on scenes that aired in 2016, and Hartley was a frontburner on the CBS soap opera during that time.

Y&R fans were quick to voice how upset they are on social media.  But, the official Daytime Emmy Awards Twitter account made a shocking announcement.  It turns out that Just Hartley was NOT snubbed, in fact he wasn’t even eligible because he didn’t submit a reel in to the competition.
