General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, August 18, 2017 bring together unexpected couples, a smart young lady is very observant while another pleads for a loved one’s trust. General Hospital spoilers reveal that Dr. Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) may be willing to forsake his vows as “man of the cloth” once again as sources show him kissing and getting extremely intimate with damaged mob prince, Ava Jerome (Maura West). Fans of the ABC soap opera have seen the undeniable attraction between the two but is this kiss real or once again a figment of Ava’s imagination?

GH’s Emma Scorpio Drake (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) may be one of the smartest people in Port Charles, remember when she was the one to discover Alex had replaced her beloved grandmother, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) within seconds of seeing her? Emma is back to her sleuthing ways when she questions Anna, saying she thinks there is something suspicious about him. Could she be talking about her friend Charlotte’s (Scarlett Fernandez) father, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart)?

General Hospital sources tease that Valentin is relentless in his pursuit of reuniting with the woman he loves, Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford). She may have initially believed he was a changed man, but his recent actions have her questioning their relationship and him as a man, Valentin meets with Nina at the Metro Court and asks her what she is going to make him to in order for him to win back her trust. Do you think she should forgive him for all his misdeeds?

GH’s nurse Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) talks to Dr. Griffin Munro, and she tells him if anyone can save her soul, it is him; is it possible she is referring to Ava Jerome?
