Posh Josh and Lauren are certainly flirtatious, but is that any reason for Steven to stab holes in his condoms? Say what?! Because Steven thinks that having a baby will keep his relationship intact, he sabotages his condoms prior to having sex with an unsuspecting Lauren. Well, the bad guy got his way, and Lauren eventually became pregnant.

Lauren is already a mom juggling a full-time job and a busy love life; the last thing she wants is another child to raise. So she decided to have an abortion and not tell Steven. The only problem is that the emotional woman confided in her jealous sister Abi [Lorna Fitzgerald], who takes it upon herself to tell the crazy guy. Bad move, Lauren!

Steven has not had a good week when he hears the devastating news from Abi. Prior to her revelation, Steven had two other bombshells dropped on him. First, he overheard his stepfather say that he will never have the same feelings for Steven as he does his biological kids. Ouch!

He also has an uncomfortable encounter in the Queen Vic, involving Lauren’s boy, Louie. Louie’s father is Steven’s stepbrother Peter, and he could not love him more than he already does. But the whole paternity thing is awkward, and it comes up again during a bar conversation, leaving Steven feeling unsettled.
