EastEnders Spoilers: Shirley Returns From Prison, Can She Save The Carter Family?

EastEnders Spoilers: Shirley Returns From Prison, Can She Save The Carter Family?EastEnders’ Shirley (played by Linda Henry) has been having a rough time of it recently, making enemies in prison was not her original intention. After taking the blame for her Mick (played by Dany Dyer) in a heart-warming display of motherly affection, she intended to do her time in peace.

But, this of course did not happen, Shirley made enemies from the very start when she tried to use her London edge to seem more criminal than she was. Other prisoners found out her crime was low

Other prisoners found out her crime was low level, not the bad-ass she was pretending to be as self-defence. Since that point we have seen her struggle with life in prison, harassed by fellow inmates who did not appreciate her lies.

In particular her cell mate Debbie, who has been a constant source of pain for poor Shirley, who just wants to be left in peace.

But, thankfully for Shirley, EastEnders spoilers tease that this should all be over in the upcoming week, as she is set to become a free woman once more and return to the square.

But, with her family in tatters, is there anything to go back to? With Mick visiting his daughter Nancy in Bulgaria, who is said to have suffered a terrible car accident with a possible death in the mix and Sylvie facing the prospect of a nursing home, the family is not in the best shape.

The Carter’s will try to welcome Shirley home with open arms, throwing the traditional Vic welcome home party. Which characters receive no matter what their absence has been, in prison for small theft, honey moon or murder? Doesn’t matter, the whole square will drink to their return. Hopefully, Shirley will be able to mend some of the cracks left by Aunt Babe and help the family in their time of financial need.
