EastEnders Spoilers: New Relationship For Ben Mitchell In The Works?

EastEnders Spoilers: New Relationship For Ben Mitchell In The Works?Ben Mitchell (Harry Reid) has been single for quite a long time. His last serious boyfriend being Paul (Jonny Labey) who tragically died leaving Ben grief stricken for months. But there is a new hope on the horizon in the form of bad boy Keanu (Danny Walters).

The two had a short but promising conversation earlier this week when Keanu was on the job hunt, he begged Ben saying he would do anything that was available. Ben turned him away but told him his bench prank was funny and that he would keep his phone number for if a job did come up in the Archers. Keanu is surprisingly qualified as he admits he has completed his apprenticeship.

This small interaction is enough for theories to start flying that the two young men will get together romantically. And here are some reasons why. Ben was once in Keanu’s shoes a fact that he commented on saying “don’t worry they forget, I’ve been there.” Ben of course committed the far greater crime of man slaughter. But his Mitchell heritage has followed him his entire life. The two may bond over their unwanted negative attention from the square.

Secondly neither has a significant other and with Keanu being so new to the square we don’t know that he wouldn’t be a suitable match for Ben. With the two having so much in common it is not impossible that sparks could fly in the future.

But the question is, will Ben call Keanu and give him a chance at the Arches? He seemed genuinely sympathetic to his case. Ben is often stand offish like his father but not with Keanu, he was genuinely nice. Not something we see from the Mitchell’s very often. Could this mean that the beginning of a new relationship are forming?
