EastEnders Spoilers: Charlie Cotton Returns To WalfordIs another fan favorite returning to the hit BBC One sudser, “EastEnders?” If so, expect Max Branning’s sinister revenge plot to get even nastier with the addition of Charlie Cotton to the mix!




According to Digital Spy, Charlie’s portrayer Declan Bennett has been spotted back on set, and filming scenes with Jake Woods’ Mad Max. What in the world are these two characters scheming up?

Charlie was last seen out and about in Walford in 2015. Dot’s grandson left town in fear of Vincent Hubbard, but she’s been trying to make contact with him recently. His son, Matthew, could certainly use the company of his father since the death of his mom in the spectacular and controversial Ronnie and Roxy death storyline. At the moment Matthew is being cared for by Jack Branning.

After Ronnie’s death, it seemed obvious that Charlie would at least make an appearance in order to comfort his son. Although Matthew was left to mourn on his own, it now looks like he’ll soon meet up with his absent father. What could Charlie and Max be up to?

Ever since his yuletide return, Max has been skulking about town, acting dark and mysterious. Surely he hasn’t forgiven the enemies who wrongly had him imprisoned? Max has talked a good game about letting bygones be bygones, but his behavior is not quite in line with his gracious words. He’s been seen with a suspicious new character, and it’s becoming apparent that his every move involves putting a revenge plan into motion.
