Just because Abby (Marci Miller) is back from the dead on, “Days of Our Lives,” it doesn’t mean her marriage can be revived, too! Do they or don’t they? We can confirm that star-crossed lovebirds Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abby make it to the alter, but will the wedding rings get exchanged or returned?
Abigail Devereaux and Chad DiMera shouldn’t be together, she’s the daughter of Saint Jennifer and he’s the son of Devil Stefano. How could the spawn of Salem’s two polar opposite families have found love together?
Nonetheless, in spite of (or maybe because of) their differences, Chabby works! He’s provides a rock solid foundation for the sensitive, sometimes unstable Abigail. Like, when she went off the rails and tried to burn a man she tied to a bed; with her baby in the house!
Good-hearted Chad stood by her then, and he even pined for her after she was sent to the sanitarium. Heck, Chad remained faithful to Abby’s memory when she escaped and was presumed dead in a plane crash. Until feisty, fun loving, Gabi (Camilla Banus) came along.
It took a while, but the single parents bonded over movie nights and family picnics. The only problem was that Abby was really alive all that time, trying to get her act together enough to return home to her devoted Chad.
Long story short, the trio has had some awkward moments since Abby returned. Like when both girls were tied up to a poisonous IV drip and Chad had to choose which one lived. I hate when that happens! But, Chabby is back on track and about to be reunited in holy matrimony. Unless…

Chabby won’t last. We’ve seen who the weak link is in that marriage, so it’s just a matter of time before she snaps again. Chad is much better off raising his son with Gabi and Ari. They’d make a beautiful family, and maybe later add to it by having a child together. Abby can move out of town, or up the road; just stay away from Chad and making his life miserable.
