Days of Our Lives POLL: Who Do You Prefer Eric With – Jennifer or Nicole?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) has recently revealed that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) was given early parole due to rescuing a woman in prison about to commit suicide. DOOL viewers, we remember he had gotten behind the wheel under the influence, killing Dr. Daniel Jonas (Shawn Christian) and nearly killing his stepbrother, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).

He became a raging alcoholic after he lost Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and learned what Serena Mason (Melissa Archer) was up to and how used he was by most of the women in his life; Nicole included. Yes, their love is strong and they care deeply, but can you really say she is the best woman for him?

Eric and Nicole had been off and on more times than fans can count, but there still is hope for them. Since 1997, these two have been connected since Eric was photographer for Countess Wilhelmina; where he convinced the company to hire her as a model. They become a couple, but she leaves him and marries Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattillo).

They reunite again, only for him to vanish for years, returning as a priest. There is a huge DOOL following of Eric and Nicole, but wouldn’t it be nice to see Eric Brady end up with a woman who is good to him, and for him?

Just prior to Eric’s prison sentence on Days of Our Lives, Eric was in a dark place and so was Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves). They seemed like an odd couple, with some fans complaining about their age difference; but they were sort of sweet to each other; neither of them having a hidden agenda and both knowing the other wasn’t a saint.

Yes, they both gave into their demons together and ended up on an awkward note, but recently when Eric say Jennifer in Horton square, their chemistry was undeniable. Jen is a fighter and she still cares deeply for Eric, she is definitely willing to do anything for Eric.

They are both clean and sober, and working to put their lives back together; what better time for them to reunite? There clearly are some unresolved feelings and neither of them are tangled in a messy break up or any other kind of drama; what do you think?
