‘The Young And The Restless’ News: Eileen Davidson Reportedly Demoted On Real Housewives, Leaving Bravo Reality TV Show?

Is ‘The Young And The Restless’ star Eileen Davidson leaving Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?  Over at Bravo they are currently getting together the Season 7 RHOBH cast, and according to a report from Tamara Tattles, Y&R star Eileen Davidson did not make the cut and has been demoted to “Friend Of The Housewife.”

For those of you who aren’t familiar with the Bravo lingo, “Friend Of The Housewife” is not good.  Basically, if Eileen accepts the new gig, she will appear in one or two episodes of Season 7, and will have maybe a total of five lines as she stands in the crowd at a party or not so accidentally bumps in to one of the series regulars at the salon.

Eileen Davidson definitely brought some drama to the show and probably quite a few soap opera fans, but in the long run the amount of money she was requesting from the network was way more than she was bringing to the Real Housewives franchise.  Although, Bravo nor Eileen will ever give anyone a straight answer about her reality TV paycheck, work on the internet was that she requested quite a bit more than some of the other cast members.  As she should, she’ a working actress, not the third ex-wife of a 90’s TV actor or a troubled former child star that hasn’t landed a gig in three decades.

According to Tamara Tattles, Eileen still hasn’t accepted the deal that Bravo offered her as “Friend Of The Housewife,” so unless something change – Davidson may not even appear on Season 7 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills at all.
