‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Thomas’ Dilemma – Will He Choose Forrester Creations Shanghai Or Claim Douglas As His Son

“The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers tease that Ridge Forrester [Thorsten Kaye] will offer Thomas Forrester [Pierson Fode) a chance to head up Forrester Creations Shanghai. But the truth about Douglas’s paternity may stop Thomas from grabbing the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Which is more important, Thomas’s career or claiming Douglas as his son?

This career move would give Thomas the chance to make a name for himself within Forrester Creations, something the young entrepreneur has always wanted. But the discovery that Douglas is his son and not his nephew will give Thomas reason to question Ridge’s motives in offering him the position. It’s obvious Ridge wants Thomas out of the picture.

Ridge hasn’t changed even though Thomas thought he had. Ridge is still deceitful , cold, conniving and manipulative. Despite all of Ridge’s lies Thomas is still desperate for his father’s love and approval. What choice does Thomas make?

Thomas doesn’t want to destroy the possibility of a loving relationship with Ridge, but he doesn’t want Ridge to raise Douglas either. Thomas isn’t going to let Ridge take anymore from him than he already has. Douglas is Thomas’s son, and Thomas wants to be in his life as a father, not an uncle.

This is one of the most difficult decisions of Thomas’s life. Does he stand up to Ridge and fight for custody of Douglas? Or does Thomas head off to Shanghai and keep quiet about Douglas’s paternity?

This latest ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ battle over a baby has the potential to destroy the Forrester family forever. If this ends up in a custody battle between Caroline Forrester [Linsey Godfrey] and Thomas, a DNA test may be ordered.

Is it possible Thomas will throw away his career and then find out Douglas is Ridge’s biological son after all? Yes, Ridge had a vasectomy and after testing was told he would never father a child again even if he had a reversal. But there’s always the chance that the tests were incorrect and Ridge is the father of Caroline’s baby.
